I bought a couple skeins of this to make some fancy dishcloths. It is SO soft and nice, I then bought some more and made a baby's bonnet and booties. It's lovely to work with, very soft, and the prints make a nice heathered sort of look (NOT stripes). I'll be buying more.
It's a bit thinner than what I'd call "worsted weight." As compared to Sugar 'N' Cream cotton yarn, for instance, it's thinner, lighter, and softer. It will not make as sturdy a product as the Sugar'N' Cream does, nor show as crisp a stitch definition, but for soft things that you'd want next to your skin, or a baby's skin, this is much nicer.
