This is a favorite cottton for afghans, strong bags, baby garments, wash cloths and more! Heavy and strong, it is a true worsted weight yarn that works great at 4-4.5 stitches per inch. Completely machine wash and dry, this cotton will take all the abuse you can dish out. Our "Sturdy String Bag" pattern takes 2 skeins!

This yarn was very easy to work with - finished the string bag in two days (not steady) - Able to send to my Granddaughter in North Carolina. Picked up the pattern and yarn while on vacation - was able to work with it in a traveling car.
